Hi, and thank you for this site! I have recently started using my qy70 in my solo act, and need to download the data files to my computer for storage and re-use. The problem is that I can't find anywhere that says how to make the data filer work with Windows Vista. Does it work with Vista? Do you have any tips on how to make it work? Thank you in advance. Danke

Hi,
I work in a Door Tribute band and use an XP-30 with 60&70s and vintage synth cards installed for everything except piano and electric piano sounds.

You want to explore the Vox sounds on the 60s & 70s card.
These are patches 100-118 on that card. You can go to Rolandus.com and get the patch list for that card if you don't have it.

I am really happy.

Hoping you can help me. I have the xp 30 and trying to find the best organ sound to emulate the 'Doors' for 'Light My Fire' and 'Touch Me'. I do have the 60's 70's expansion card. Thank you for your help!

Hello and congratulations for your QY70 FAQ that is a wealth of information for owners of this device.

My question is as follows: Is it possible to disengage the QY70 sequencer from its internal tone generator.

I can of course set the volume of the respective track to 0 but then I do not have the ability to send such continuous controllers - for example volume (CC7) - because then they also affect the internal generator and therefore the QY70 is resound.

The QY700 has the possibility to send midi data from track to Midi out and/or internal sound generator and this is what I want to do.

I hope my question is clear and you can give me an answer.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards from France.

I apologize for my bad english.

Peter

I own my Xp30 for several years now but never had to use midi connections (I use the XP30 for live performances).
Now I need the midi connections but it seems there is no connection at all. When I put in the midi cables the XP30 doesn't transmit or receive midi information.

I looked in the manuel, I think I have all the settings right, but still no connection.

Do you know what might be the problem?

Bye for now and thanks.

Jan-Willem.
